Allison will sing the Alto solos from Part One of Händel's Messiah in the Greater New Bedford Choral Society's second annual Messiah and Carol Sing. Bring your score and sing along with members of the Choral Society! Some copies of the score will be made available at the door. $5 per person/ $25 per family maximum.

These later parts of the Christmas Oratorio are not as frequently performed as the first three parts; they are written for New Year's Day, The Journey of the Magi, and the Feast of the Epiphany. Allison will sing the alto solos in Part One of Handel's Messiah. This is a Messiah Sing, so the audience is encouraged sing along with members on the Greater New Bedford Choral Society on this choral masterwork! A limited number of scores will be made available; if your have your own, bring it. This event will follow the New Bedford City Tree Lighting; make an evening of it and maybe start a new holiday tradition.
Allison will offer opera favorites at "Arias and Apertivo", a masquerade event featuring a silent auction that will benefit Opera New Hampshire's 53rd season. Tickets are $40 for Members and $50 for Non Members. They can be purchased on Opera NH's website.

Music will include classic songs from the 1920s-1940s as well as original songs by our friend, Nobody Jones. Simmons Café will offer delicious local fare including lobster, vegan options, ice cream, and beer & wine. This is an outdoor event.

On 30 July, Allison joins the Litchfield County Choral Union and music director Jonathan Babbitt in presenting an all-Bach program. Allison will be featured in the solo Alto cantata BWV 170, Vergnügte Ruh, beliebte Seelenlust. Located on the Ellen Battell Stoeckel Estate, the iconic Music Shed, renowned for its superb acoustics and unbroken sight lines, is the venue for the perennial favorite summer event in Norfolk, Connecticut. Tickets are $25 for Adults and $20 for Students and Seniors.
Allison sings the part of Marthe in Jules Massenet's oratorio Marie-Magdeliene. This performance will take place at Northeast Catholic College, as part of their celebration of St. Mary Magdalen's Feast day.

As part of the Singing Out Against Hunger series, Allison joins friends in singing original songs by Nobody Jones at the Art Café. This is an outdoor concert. We will play at about 1pm. The event runs from 11-3. Donations will be taken for the local food pantry.

Allison will visit ten elementary schools in southern New Hampshire with Opera NH's outreach program. The Opera NH Children's Opera Program reaches thousands of young people each year. In this program, four singers and a pianist will present a brief introduction to opera, perform arias and duets, and answer questions. For more information, visit Opera NH's website.

On the tenth day of Christmas, Allison Messier and Jonathan Babbitt will present a concert of traditional Christmas music of the Western Church at St. Francis of Assisi in Swansea, MA. Repertoire will include a variety of carols, some dating back to the 13th century. This concert, which will also include a sing along, is FREE and open to the public.
Celebrate Christmas Eve on the Little Compton common. In collaboration with Music Director Michael Bahmann, baritone Jonathan Babbitt, and the choir of the Little Compton UCC, Allison will present a program of seldom heard works including Gounod's Chantez Noël and Adorabunt Nationes by Friedrich Heinrich Himmel. The evening will also feature the newly-rebuilt Chickering grand piano that, together with the Ruffati organ, form the backbone of the church’s instrumental program.
